The WRX steering wheel seems to be the same as in the new legacy.

I agree totally with the comments on the steering wheel in the standard WRX. I love my '02 wheel...too bad they didn't stick with it.
The wheels are not horrible, but they are still 16". I wonder if the width has changed? I think a lot of people will still be changing them out for nicer 17's anyway.

when the crap are we gonna get some good pics of the ENTIRE cars? are all these spy pics because we're not supposed to know what they look like yet? its kind of annoying trying to imagine what the overall look of the car is with all these partial pics.
sorry, i do apprectiate our 'spies' and their efforts. i just hate all the manufacturer secrecy.
why dont you just show us the car when you make it. we're gonna buy it or not just the same. oh yeah, and show us one in each color please.

ya definitley man, i got to be honest with ya...after purchasing my new 04 and hearing about a new 05 commin out...i was kinda beat that i didnt wait. But from these pictures....im glad i stuck w/ the 04. The rims are horrible, but i do like the more "refined" stereo and climate control system. O ya and the smoked headlights....but we can do that ourselves.

I like that the new steering wheel is three-pronged; more room for holding at the bottom when just cruising along with your arm on the door armrest. Do wish it had stereo controls on it, that is getting more and more common.
The new STi wheel is a big improvement over the cheap, fake-metal/plastic current one, IMHO.
Really like the new HVAC and cup-holders!
Still, I honestly think I like my 04 better overall. whew!

I personally like the 05 better. The center counsel is nicer, the rims are nicer, the exhaust, the headlights. The only thing I do not like better is the steering wheel=fugly.
