Sport Compact Cat can crap out a Civic for all I care. Read informed European mags for many Evo-STi shootouts. STi usually wins.

SCC sucks bag, riceboy.

Nope, you are entitled to read it (and others) and formulating your own opinion. If you are capable of doing so.

However, in a previous issue of Sport Compact Car, the Lancer Evo VII smoked the STi.
Apparently more has changed than just some aero touches. The facelifted STi has a twin-scroll turbo that significantly bumps up the low-rpm torque, as well as a completely reworked suspension mounts and tuning that are supposed to give it handling closer to the RA than the old New Age STi.

As to which would win a performance shootout, that's anybody's guess right now, but this year is certainly going to be interesting!
