Hey everyone my brother has a 2003 WRX with a full catless setup and I was wondering if we can pass smog with just the oem downpipe and exhaust so we don't have to go through the trouble of taking off the uppipe. We have to get a smog test by the beggining of december. If someone can help that would be great but if someone can "HELP" without taking anything off tha twould be great too just pm me your shop

im pretty sure u can pass with the stock dp my smog is due next week but you might have to put the access port back to stock

 

put the AP back to stock setting, replace the downpipe to the stock one, and drive for about an hour before the test. You should pass just fine.

 

what u think about the sti tmic

 

I dont think he said anything about an STI TMIC. But, I really dont think smog shops are that ****. The one I went to sure as hell wouldn't have cared.
