Should I put Money into a 97 Impreza Outback sport
I dont know if I should put money into a 97 Impreza Outback Sport or just save up for a WRX or STi. I might be headed to Japan in a few months, so I dont know if it would be worth the money or just buy a new car. Any help would be great!

I'm going to disagree, save the money that you could have put into the OBS for a WRX or STi. If you mod the OBS, you're flushing that money down the toilet when you trade it in unless you tear the parts out and sell them separately. Buy the WRX sooner instead, you'll end up with a new car with a lot better performance than you would've gotten anyday sinking money into the 6 year-old OBS, and then you can further mod it a couple years down the road when you've saved up some cash.

I own a MY97 OBS and it is not the easiest car to find performace parts for. That is because (as far as I have found) it has a 2.2L engine and you just don't see many performance parts. I plan on saving my money and getting a MY02 or later WRX in a year or so, because it is much easier to get performance parts for a WRX. However you have to make your own desicion.
