Should I buy a (used) WRX or STi? (was: Which one?)
First off, i'm new here and i am just saving up some cheese to get a suby. After a long time, i finally decided on a subaru impreza but i still have some questions and all the feedback would be appreciated.
My main dilemma is WRX Vs. STI
Here is my pros and cons list.
WRX- Cheaper insurance, cheaper in price, SLOWER, slightly cheaper to mod
STI- FASTER!!!, slightly better looking, higher insurance, more expensive
Which on is more mods friendly? I am planning on doing some slight mods for now:
intake, exhaust, BOV, up the boost a little, coilovers, wheels, front lip, down pipe, up pipe, fmic, cobb ecu upgrade, and some more mild upgrades. I might, later on, put in a gt35r turbo but that would be in a year or so...
so any suggestions?

Most important question is new or used?New is a matter of pocketbook. If you can afford it and ultimate performance is your goal the sti would be better. If it's used I could type ten pages of advice. BUT in one sentence it's mileage, condition and the previous owner.Get the lowest mileage, most original, one owner(who's the oldest, car nut, garage it,receipt keeping, responsible looking guy you can find) CAR>period.Lastly,do nothing for months, until you get a feel for what you want different(your ideas will continuously change) and research, research, etc . It's a lot easier to not buy something than redo a mistake. BOV's and boost controllers make take 1st place in that category.
