^ Have you autocrossed? I'm guessing you oversteered because you lifted mid-turn? That's why it's called "In Fast, Out Backwards". Impreza's usual tendency is to understeer.

i think that color looks good... the STI hatch wasn't completely ugly for me right away and it's growing... the wrx hatch still looks like crap though... i think the STI will make it just fine. I think it will do well enough that people will still have to cut deals to get 07 STI's off the lot; especially since the new STI will be pushing better handling and power.

Ok, I'm changing my mind about hatchbacks. I'd definitely buy that car if I had the dough...whatever car I get next will likely be grey or black.

I like subarus, a big reason is their rally background... are those freaking 19"s?
Jesus man. I don't want a subaru that has to hide from gravel and dirt, at least those wheels should be easy to trade off for something with rubber and affordable tires.

It still is focus-y... looks better than a focus, but still.

^ You know that's just a concept. Pretty sure the production will feature 18". Plus, if Subaru followed their rally background that close for their production cars then we'd be riding on 15" wheels with dirt tyres (I don't mind, lol).

Looks good in my opinion. Gone for something different, which is something that needed to be done. The front-end evolutions have gotten a little stale. Good that they have started anew.

If the 08 STI looks like that I'd roll it. Don't care for the WRX hatch or sedan design, they are just too watered down.

LOL That's great.

From the R&T pics, it looks like they were almost aiming for early Audi Quattro style, but ended up with a ford focus.

I think once it's out and people add to it and change it to fit their own tastes, it'll grow on everyone.

I agree I think it looks like a Ford Focus, however it'll make older models cheaper or it could have the opposite effect and make them tough to get. Bottom line I guess when I actually can put hands on it I will make my mind up then!:yo:

I was at first very excited to see that they were coming out with, maybe they had made an improvement over the ****ty changed they've made over the past few years(they should have kept bugeyes!!!!). I have, as many of you say as well, grown to like the changes they've made to the impreza('03-'07). But these '08 changes modded or not is too drastic of a change! They've taken they're unique subaru chassis and made it look like most other cars on the streets today. This car is dirt ugly and unoriginal, and hopefully they realize their mistake and change it in the coming years.
