Fog lights, if they have the covers that says Impreza, its basically an RS. The person could change that though...
The best giver are the seats. 02/03 WRX seats are sport seats with blue/black weaved inserts in them. Don't know about the newer ones.
Exhaust, stock RS has only one outlet muffler, WRX has a dual tip.
Hood scoop...if he person has a hood scoop on his RS, then just look under the hoodscoop. There should be a TMIC there, that is unless he goes FMIC.
