Quick question about fuel injectors.

I had a cylinder 2 misfire. I changed everything from spark plugs to coil packs without much result. I decided to switched the fuel injector from cylinder number 2 to cylinder number 1. The code went from cylinder number 2 to cylinder number 1.

So I went and got a new fuel injector. I installed it to cylinder number 1 and when I started it the code went back to cylinder number 2.

What's happening?

I guess fuel injection was fine. One of the cylinder where the supposedly bad fuel injection has zero compression.

Just realized that was you in the other thread. Did you decide whether to pull the engine?

I didn't pull the engine. That was my plan but I decided to do it without pulling the engine.

The exhaust valve on the cylinder that has zero compression is bent.

I bought a new timing belt and a new timing belt tensioner hoping that would solve the problem before but now that I know it's a bent valve I'm scared to reuse the timing belt and timing belt tensioner that I just recently bought.

Should I just but a new timing belt and a new timing belt tensioner just to be sure?

Not really sure about the ring land. I'm not familiar with that one yet but I can see the exhaust valve on the cylinder that has zero compression is definitely bent.

After the bent exhaust valve every time I put the timing belt together and start the car it always skip timing. Can a bent exhaust valve cause the timing belt to skip or there's something wrong with the pulleys, the timing belt, or the timing belt tensioner?

I'm afraid that once I have the bent exhaust valve fixed that reusing the timing belt and the timing belt tensioner that I recently bought and used during the process of finding out what's wrong will bend the valves again.

The belt and and the tensioner has pretty much zero miles but I'm having doubts. I feel like buying another brand new belt and tensioner but I'm thinking about the wasted money as well if that's not even the cause of the belt skipping.
