Proud owner of an 04!!!!!

I finally did it. I went to Subaru today and picked up a 2004 WRB WRX sedan 5spd w/spoiler. I got a smokin deal on it too. (paid invoice) I have yet to even feel the full pull of the turbo and I love it already!!!! So is it 3000 or 4000 rpm's that I can't go over until break in is over? Thanks

Ya I plan on modding it. Not until next spring though. I'm definitely going to do the intake silencer removal this weekend though. I need a really good detailed description with pics on how to do it though. I'm talking like tons of pics. I'm more of a visual learner. Thanks.

PS: So it is 4000 rpms and not 3000?

Right on man! Our rides are like twin brothers, I got the same exact thing back in Sept. and I love it! I only waited for 500 miles to really get on it.....actually I couldn't help but boost a few times before the 500 miles.....I'm sure it's ok. I heard that they are already broken in from the factory. So what mods have you got planned? That air silencer removal is easy. Sorry no pics but I can give you instructions on it.

Go to www.scoobymods.com. They have a detailed description with pics I think. i got my 04 in black back in August. Love it so far other than it being a little slow. Be careful with the seats, they like to snag.

paying invoice isn't really a hard thing to do, just need to know how to "negotiate", or some would put it, haggle them. but honestly if you were just to go to www.carsdirect.com or some other similar website, and pick the car/options it will give you the dealers costs for that specific car, and print that paper out, go to the dealership, and pretty much slap that paper you just printed out, and off them what u think is the price you're willing to pay. anyways, yea you should upload some pictures of your new car.

I'll try to post up some pics tonight when I get home from work. It's bone stock so it's just another WRX.
