Power Mirror DissAssembly

Some drunk kicked my mirror off. The wires were broken when he kicked it off.

I am trying to take the mirror appart to reattache the wires. I've pulled the mirror straight out on other cars, cant' remember wat exactly it was.

Do any of you know how to properly (not break) dissassemble it?

i've got the mirror off the car.

hmmm, i've replaced lots of mirrors, but never opened one, or tried to fix one. i don't know if its possible.

hey dude
i had the same problem and tried to fix it. broke it. your right other mirros just pop off, but subaru uses some crazy pivoting ball which cannot be taken off from the back side. only from under the glass via front side. i think you have to take the glass out with out breaking it like i did in a rush. take your time!!!
