posting i-Club links in NASIOC

When replying to any message on NASIOC, one has to word things carefully when putting an i-Club thread .url into a link. Do it the wrong way and the 'i-club.com' portion of the .url becomes 'nasioc.com'. Apparently, Nick has it set up to parse for the 'i-club' links in forum posts and make the substitution.
Update. Explanation posted by mod WagonMonster on NASIOC in BAIC forum. The reasons given sounds reasonable given the workarounds supplied in the post. Though many of us already figured out the workarounds on our own, the fact that Nick doesn't filter those probably indicates that they really aren't trying to keep us from linking to i-Club.
That's good, because a lot of BAIC are members of both boards.
