Opening wastegate.

Im trying to get a little more push out of my turbo. I heard opening the wastegate is the key? New to this and I'm sure there are tons of threads on it I'm just to lazy to look. 2002 wrx. How do I increase my psi? Pics and tutorials are welcome.

Stop touching your car and go to a credible Subaru tuner.

+1, you don't want to over boost your engine causing lots of headaches and a possible blown engine later down the road

I don't plan to tube until I get my exhaust and air intake and a few other things. And I don't plan to do that for a good few months. I'm not looking for a huge boost. Just enough to push me into my seat. I'm not dropping $500 for someone to turn a screw for me only to go have it tuned later with my mods. I hear people doing themselves no problem. I appreciate the input but it never answered my actual question.

If you have no earthly idea what you're doing then that $500 to turn a screw saved you the $5,000 you would have spent to replace the motor that you broke because you didn't want to spend $500.

tourexy, are you on ClubWRX?

That M1000 sound will be your engine blowing up when down the road if you turn that screw your self.
