OMG Enough is enough!
I've read just about every post in regards to the "18 p.s.i. boost + warranty denial = everybody pissed" threads. Well, I read all of them until I got really annoyed! I think everybody learned a valuable lesson through the whole deal and that the thing should be dropped now. I'm sick of people of the same community (Subaru Enthusiasts) AND some random trolls battling with each other.
Nobody really won this deal and it's over. End of story.

true true, i felt the same way about the mods and the homoerotic demeanor that they displayed by permanantly keeping my post count-ometer at zero cuz of my SN. Then i said to myself, hold up, i just ordered my 04' wrx, people will no longer know how many posts i account for, the mods are gay, most of the people in here modify their vehicles in such a tacky manner which totally equals, WHO GIVES A HOOT ABOUT THESE *****!
THEN AGAIN, i think the dude i bantered about having that hideous looking sooped up 02' wrx, could have hacked into my account, and concreted a 0 post count. The signifcance that these forums play towards anybody, should denounce "who cares about hugh, he will be cruisin his 04' blue ridge pearl through the treacherous streets of south central and compton anyway". (That would prove veracious if i don't get killed first). WHAT NOW?!
Hold on, i hear something.
*hugh peeps out of window*
*sees little T-Bug and Ray Ray breaking fence and stealing his stolen bike*
hold up, y'all wait for a sec, i gotta go get something.

boost...
That whole mess was wacky. I've got mixed emotions on how people handled themselves, but so what... what the hell do I know. The one thing that sticks with me was the end result. A dead car.
I don't wanna get on a rant here but...
I think it was a great story. Some people mod cars, some people want to mod cars (but can't aford to/don't know how/are afraid to), and some people are fine with stock cars. Hey, whatever floats your boat. For those that do... or want to... it's good to keep some perspective on the pros (speed, bragging rights, etc) and the cons (exploding cars, cars that add to your danger of an accident, etc.)
Me and an old roommate used to be pretty competetive with motorcycles. One day I got a brand new bike that was 100 times better than his in all aspects. Needless to say, he found it necessary to dump $3k into his bike to blow me off the road. He probably bought his bike used for $6k. My new bike was around $10k. One of his mods happened to be some trick brake rotors and calipers that he installed himself. Well, the test run bucked him off onto the street at a measly 20mph and managed to total the bike. Imagine his surprise when his now $9k bike was only worth about $5k to his insurance company.
And what about these engineers that make these cars? They can't be morons can they? Probably had a few good ideas that combined together with the end result as your car (or bike) and changing things all *****-nilly can't be a good idea.
Sorry... so much to say, but I know I would have ADDed my way away from my own message by now, so I'll just stop writing.
02' WRX Platinum Silver Metalic with the DRL mod... yeah, it's trick.
