 speaking of which, what is the actual hp and tork of that car the wrc one, do they vary between races, kinda like nascar does, the other thing where can i find the actual specs for that car, like weight and all that. i see there is a cage in the car, is that through out the whole car(ie. nascar frame with sheetmetal) i see the dooors open and stuff is it a production car that has stuff just added to it. how exactly does it work.
because i have never seen a a whell drive tubocharged ford focus.

hit up http://www.wrc.com and http://www.swrt.com for info on the cars, and you can read the technical rules on the FIA's website if you have the patience. basically, they're full on race cars that are street legal because they drive on public roads between special stages. Gronholm was actually forced out of Rally GB by a Welsh constable, because the officer didn't think that Gronholm's car was safe to drive back to service.
Group A rally cars are fitted with a restrictor, and so only make about 300hp. however, they make huge ammounts of torque which is what allows them to rocket out of corners.
i wouldn't hold your breath for a special edition STi, Makinnen won four world titles for MItsubishi, which is why there was a Tommi Makinnen lancer evo.

if Petter wins three more championships, in a row to boot (ala Tommi) then there might be a chance. until then, you're probably going to have to settle for a number 7 car in GT4.

that would be SO sick. C'mon lets go for three more titles. By then I'll be almost out of school and a few years I might be able to pick up a used one. Maybe i'm thinking in to this a bit much

Um the RB5 came out just beacuse Burns came back to subaru.... I think a special edition for Petter does not need 3 more titles to be justified...

we got one here in aust back in 98 thanks to possum bourne who is a kiwi but we got them and they din't which is the model i own.
1998 club spec evo 2 limited edition only 223 ever made and you cant get them anywhere but here.
which makes it the rarest wrx in the world even rarer than the 22b sti which there was 245 made and the sti 202 which they made 270 of them.
i dont think you guys get any of those models there because they were made pre 2000 and you poor buggers didn't have the turbo ones then.
