I own a MY 02 4eat sedan and it moves on the highway. I have very few mods right now just silencer removal, k and n air panel filter and turbo xs axleback for now and even with an automatic between say 80 or so to 130 the car just moves. I dont agree with most of the IS300 posts that say wrx arent very good on the highway and say we are better off the line. If anything I feel its the opposite. Because the torque of the stock wrx is lower than a srt 4 and other cars getting off the line isnt the best but from a roll or cruising on the highway and then punching it is a different story. Who knows what mods the wrx had but for a little bit of money ie a cobb reflash on even a stock wrx torque and hp increase quite a bit and get nice gains and from looking at the car no one would know what u got. That is the nice thing with the wrx is that if you dont go heavy on the traditional body mods and concentrate on handling and power unless they look under your hood it may look stock but look out.
They dont know if you got a up pipe, down pipe, reflash, boost controller etc just by looking at the car on the highway.
I agree it smells like bs to me also. Im not just saying this because we are subaru owners but as someone stated on the is300 thread the wrx beats out the IS300 on almost all performance categories
