noob in the house
Hey guys,
I'm a proud new owner of a 2001 2.5 RS and boy am I diggin that awd. I'm a recent honda convert and after 4 days of driving, I am never looking back. While drivin I keep asking myself, "Where did the understeer go?"
. Man, this scooby has really reignited my passion for corners and dry pavement. I'm lovin that oldskool GC8 styling....
Anyway, right off the bat, I'd like to ask some questions. I have one year of warranty left and I'd like to know if there are any issues that I should be aware of. I do experience a bit of the "clutch judder" issue (at first I thought it was because I hadn't gotten used to the clutch) and I got my hands on the tsb, so i'll probably get on that asap. Another issue, albeit quite minor, is the broken floor mat clip tsb. Is there anything else I should get checked out? I want to get the most out of this warranty before it expires. I seem to hear a very tiny ticking noise up front around the middle of the dash (almost like the sound a toilet makes when it's left for a while). I know this seems pretty ****, but I want to take good care of my car from the start.
This isn't my particular vehicle, but it's exactly what it looks like:
Which version of bumper is that? I intend to upgrade to the bumper with the larger foglamps (I believe that is v5?).

The ticking noise from the dash is probably from the air fan. It just keeps getting louder and louder, but not that bad. My dealer wouldn't replace it. not a big deal.

Nice care. You should look into getting a rear sway bar because they make the corners even more fun! Also a COBB intake will make the car insanely loud WOT but normal otherwise. As you can tell those are my current mods so I'm a little biased but goodluck with the car.
