All I did was click on member at the top then arrange the members by date joined then I counted.

Roll your mouse over the Search button under anyone's post and look at the url in the task bar. It should end in =545 (that would be member number 545)

yeah when you look at the profile of a person, look in the url and there is a number at the end, that is your member number
