Dear WRX community:
I recently moved down to Daytona Beach florida where my cuzin just purchased a Blue 03 WRX. I have to admit ever since i rode in that car, i have loved it from the start. I have currently a ford Focus, which is a good all around car, but there is one problem, ITS SLOW!!
But it gets me where i want to go... but with my current new job, im starting to come around to getting a new car...
why did i come here, well it was to get first hand opinions from people that have WRX's or switched cars to a WRX... i just love everything about them, not to mention the capabilities for power and speed, which is AWESOME!
So im just looking for feedback postitives, negatives, pictures, all of that good stuff.
Hopefully within the next 6-8 monthsor sooner, i will be able to go out and finance or buy a new WRX or try and find a 02-03 model... im not really full of knowledge on the WRX but i want to be... i do have my ideas on what i want, but the problem is $$$$$
I look forward to hearing from you all, and i really really hope that this leads to my new product in getting a WRX

i would reccomend it to anyone looks for a car with the most bang for the buck...you CANNOT beat it. i love this car and if i happen to get rid of my other 2 cars IM BUYING ANOTHER ONE!!!!

I have a 2004 WRX Sedan. Last car was a 91 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (AWD Turbo). The WRX is in a higher league than the GSX. For me, the WRX wasn't "love at first sight" but after extensive research and some test drives, that changed big-time!
I absolutely love this car and would highly recommend it to anybody. It is easily the "best bang for the buck" car I have seen. If you live in the north where there is poor weather, it is THE sports car to have for under $30,000.
Cons: paint chips much too easily (get several coats of ZAINO Car Polish on it right away to help) and the stock stereo is a joke. Get the stock and then get an aftermarket setup to save money.
Good luck.
P.S. The WRX people out there are great and always give a wave when they see you.

A WRX is no competetor to the EVO, at least not without a few $k in upgrades.
