Newbie saying hi.
Hi guys. Just browsing the net and came across your forum. Looks good.
I have just bought my second Scooby. First was a 99 2.0na Legacy wagon. Not too exciting i know.
My new one is a bit better. A 98 Legacy RS sedan. 2.0L twin turbo. Its running STI suspension and has full leather interior from a much later car.
Once i figure out how, i'll post some pictures.
By the way, I'm across the pond in the UK. Is anyone else on here from the UK?

Thanks for the welcome and comments guys.
I just took some more pics of the car. You will notice some strange looking things under the bonnet (hood). I have just had an LPG system installed. With fuel at 92p per litre, (just under $2 per litre) and Lpg at 40p per litre, it had to be done.
The wheels are not stock. They also either need replacing or refurbing. The interior is from a later car as well.

Quote,
How is that LPG system working out regarding power and driveability?
With regard both the above, it is early days. I,ve only been driving it for 2 weeks since the installation.
It would seem that neither have been compromised. I think the only thing that has suffered is the miles per gallon figures(mpg). I was getting about 22mpg on petrol. I now seem to be getting 20mpg on gas.
No biggie, and i,m still saving money when i fill up.
I could probably get more mpg anyway but having had her for only a few weeks, my right foot needs a bit of training to stay of the gas pedal.

That's pretty cool. I don't know how prevalent propane (autogas or LPG) is in America for vehicles just yet (or at all), but its good to know that mileage isn't hurting much.
Another thing to mention is that even though mileage is down, overall emissions is also down on LPG systems and you save money. So, its both greener than gasoline and more cost efficient.
Also, just in case anyone in the US is confused, what the British call petrol we call gas (or gasoline) and what they call autogas (gas or LPG) we call propane. Gas here and gas there are two different things.
