New Subaru Driver

Hey everyone. Just want to introduce myself as your newest Subaru Noob. Well I just bought a 2004 WRX fully loaded not an STI though..couldn't afford that with my college loans but I'm happy with the model I got. I'm an ex-Nissan driver. I actually still have the car and trying to sell it 1997 240SX. Well I'm gonna search like crazy through the Forums for info but if anyone has info that I should know please inform me. I have pretty good mechanical skills so I should be able to help out in the technical forums..

Those are gorgeous cars. I would keep it and swap in a SR20DET and keep it for a project car. My friend has a 97 240 with SR20DET and I love it. Turbo RWD is fun.

I am surprise most people i know love their 240 did you ever though of putting in a sr20det? do you feel that the wrx is that much better than the 240 tell me why?

Two nice cars.

I'm sure he knows all about the sr20det swap.

Though he mentioned how he can't afford an STi because of school loans. I'm sure the same reason would restrict him from sinking money into a engine swap.

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome! I can tell I am going to like this forum. AS for the SR20 swap in my 240, I thought about it a lot but...something about AWD and Turbo was very attractive to me

So therefore a new WRX. But just in case any of you are interested I am selling my 240. I can send you a link to it on Ebay but you can email me and maybe we can work something out. Here is the link my 240SX
