I like it, except for the rear taillights. I also don't like what appears to be a move to go to 205-series 17" tires, as well as regression to the 2002-2005 brakes.

The double-wishbone rear suspension has been on many handling enthusiasts' wish lists for years. It'll offer much greater potential, in combination with what will undoubtedly be a far stiffer chassis than the GD/GG (which itself was worlds better than the GC/GM/GF).

As far as the exterior styling goes... I think the hatchback move obviously must be for competitive reasons. Meaning both with the market, and with WRC.
Most WRC competitors seem to have hatchbacks, so if it'll offer them a better platform, it's an obvious choice. I personally love hatchbacks.

Turning the STI into a hatchback was a bad idea in my opnion.
I think Subaru could have came up with a better more tasteful
design.Everyone I talk to doesn't like it at all.We will see how
Subaru does on sales with the new design I wish Subaru success
though.
