Don't do anything yet except for tires. Then go drive the snot out of your car, and figure out for yourself what you think needs changing. When you find yourself saying 'gee, I really wish my car would actually turn going around this bend at this speed...' then come ask for more specific advice.

Unless you just wanna buy stuff for it. We can probably help there too.

exhuast first? maybe some new headers and an air intake. well you dont really need any headers actaully. your hp after that should be around 175-180. torque not sure. also depends on what kind of exhuast and intake. injen is supposedly the best air intake for wrx's but hey you can try it on a rs. and i love the sound of the greddy evo's exhaust's. gonna cost you a arm and a leg tho.! around 1000 over here in canada. maybe abit more. good luck!

hmm well im not sure about the 99's but i know the 03's can handle it. i think they are just lying to you. maybe you should try a sound system first then. or an alarm. peace of mind b4 moddin to the max ! theres not alot of aftermarket for subies. well the older ones.

haha. asianavenue. havent been on there for awhile. anyways. i can help you with a system setup if you want. i used to work at those places. just tell me what kind of music you listen to and your price range and ill give you some advice.since i live in calgary i think the prices would be close to the same. i have a silver subie. i was thinkin silver and white. that would be pimp.

and o yea. if i was gonna pump in alot of dough into my ride i would get a really good car alarm. possibly one with 2 way paging!
