Need suggestions - blew out short block in my MY01 2.5

Hey guys i recently blew out my short block, for my01 2.5 now..i have a few options:
1.get the car back to its original state which is around 3000-4000
2.swap it out to sti block and all that but i have no idea how much its going to cost me
3.fix it back to its original state and then sell it which will be worth...i dont even know how much money ill be losing, but if i do consider selling it it would mean i would be giving up all my mods for free with the car; megan coils; legacy front rotors/calipers, legacy rear rotors, SS lines, cusco sway, endlinks, rims. and all that

i am desperate for suggestions keep in mind i am not that financially stable right now thanks!

Problem with #2 is who is going to do the swap for you?

He said he is not that financially stable so option #2 is an obvious NO! If you decide to keep the car finding a used or even new short block for that car will not be that expensive if you are performing the work yourself. Try to find someone here on i-club who has upgraded to a WRX or STI motor and might have there old but good N/A 2.5 block lying around. Call LIC Motorsports too and see what is available, they do alot of 2.5RS swaps. Hope this helps!
