Test drove a WRX. Had drivability problems. It stutterd a bit just before the turbo comes on. I tried this several times and waited for the temp to come up. I was wondering if any one has any input? Was it THAT car? Was it too cold? Thanks.

 

The WRX clutch can sometimes chatter on takeoff when cold.
The engine however should not unless there's a problem of some kind. They're a bit gutless below 4000 RPM, but smooth.

 

definitely engine mgmt was causing sputtering. it was below 4000. once the turbo came on it was a kick in the *** and very smooth.
