I used to be a honda fan but recently i begin to love subaru n wanted to learn about impreza. For this version of impreza right, i only know that theres this few model: Impreza WRX, Impreza WRX STi, Impreza RS and a normal Impreza seden. Can someone please tell me the different engine code and the displacement for these 4 engines ? ? ? sorry if i left out some. I'm new so hope you all can bare with me thankz

for impreza issit that theres a different between asia version and western version ??? the before 2001 version of impreza here has 1.6L displacement but i don't see any 1.6L impreza at the website u give... any idea ? ? ? ?

And is there a wide range of after market parts for impreza (normal impreza n not WRX) does normal impreza have modding potential ? ? ? ? thankzZ

erm... i still didn't see anything about 1.6L displacement impreza which we have in my country :P i was wondering issit possible to do a engine swap for a 2.5L EJ251(SOHC) or the one from a STi (DOHC)??? n for the modding part i didn't see any tread on changing of engine internal like Piston all that. i'm curious issit common for Impreza owner to do all these engine mod ? ? ? is there alot of after market parts for impreza ? ?

 

i don't know anything about a 1.6 impreza. the usdm impreza's have 1.8, 2.2, and 2.5 lt engines.
yes there is a large market for impreza aftermarket parts.
an ej20t swap is common, as imprezas will fit any of the newer engines in the engine bay. the difficult part lies in the wiring. engine swaps require rewiring for the new ecu.
