hey ive jsut bought a used red subaru impreza 1997 lx its done 190000 k's and lookjing really neat. only a sports exhaust have been put in but i was thinking to ask of some suggestions to make this car look and sound the best.

Good question. I am not too sure about the models outside of the states, but I am going to assume that it is an NA. If so, there really isn't much you can do in terms of power. Maybe a turbo swap down the line.

I would focus on suspension. Remember that suspension is kind of a preference thing. Start out with front and rear sway bars and go from there.
