Weel folks,
As the title says I am 500miles into my break-in. I bought my 07 SWP STi last wednesday so 500miles is not bad for a couple of days but still only half way there.. I have set my shifter light to 3,6K.. Here are my first impressions of the car..

- The new SWP colour is unique and very different to the previous Aspen White Colour, but i like it. It looks fluid like and the metallic flakes just shimmer in the sun.

- Haven't reved about 4K and it takes some discipline. For the first 250miles I didn't even floored the accelerator so the ride was pretty uneventfull. The next 250mile every now and again I would floor the accelrator but not rev past 4K and you can just about feel the turbo spooling at 3,5K but then the shift light goes and I have to shift (

- Been wearing in the brakes to with slow and hard stopping trying to seat the pads and rotors together. Plenty of brake dust on the wheels within the first two days.

- Car handles lovely flat in turns taking a bend at 60mph is no problem.

- No complaints with the suspension its hard but not that hard.

- The Radio Sucks

- All in all I love the car, but what scares me is that I love it now just wait till I can actually drive it

 

Congrads on the purchase! I too like the white pearl but I thought for some reason that it only came on the Limited STI but now I know. I too am a fellow STi owner and I can say it will only get better from here especially, when you start to mod. STi(I)'s own!
