Relaxed my front brakes with EBC slotted rotors and red stuff pads. Under braking they're awesome but just driving they rattle at the slightest bump. Any ideas on why or how to fix it? I currently don't have the pad plates they came with on. Thought that's why it was making the noise, guess not.

 

Define "pad plates". If you mean these (not this exact number):


Then yes, that is most likely your problem.

Thats what im thinking too.

 

I was kinda thinking that, but I doubt that is the problem. It sounds like they were not correctly installed regardless. Been a while since I did mine on this car so I don't even recall exactly what it looks like, but without the little spring clips, your pads will basically just float around.
