I'm new to this forum and i'm a 2002 mustang GT owner, I'm here because if there was any other car that i'd have it would be a WRX. I'm still thinking about trading my car in for one once i pay the loan off on it. But more than likely i'll save up money to out right buy a new WRX and keep my stang too, cause i like both cars. Anyways this is my first post here and this is all i could think of to say on my first post.

hello, welcome to the boards, feel free to browse around and ask questions.
what part of california are you from?
if you are near the bay area you should come and check out the tuesday night meets at union city krispy kreme 8pm
usually about 30-40 cars come out every week. great place to meet people and learn about the cars and get ideas.

I definitely know how you feel. I traded my '98 Cobra for a WRX earlier this year, and I don't regret it.
The WRX has much better handling on everyday roads, and feels more "in control" just about anywhere. I do miss the immediate low-RPM punch, though.

I'm in southern california about 90 miles from LA. I sometimes come up to sacremento, but not a lot its a 6 hour drive. I test drove a WRX when i was shopping around for a new car and liked it but always wanted a mustang. At the time i just had to have my mustang but if i wouldn't have got it the WRX would have been my first choice, and after i pay this car off it might be my next car, more than likely an STI, maybe a 2005 or 2006 model. The ride was the thing i liked about the WRX, but i loved the way the mustang pinned me to the seat when i floored the throttle, the WRX didn't really do that, as far as i could tell, but i still liked it for other things like ride and interior. I'm trying to save up money and get my car to go faster i've only done one mod right now and i've got 4:10 gears and a speedcal setting in my living room right now i just got to get the time to get them installed, then go to the track and see if i can break into the 13's(which will probly happen once i relearn how to drive the car)
