Making a White Car White

I've washed my car many times, but the white still looks dirty. Are there any products out there than help me white car look whote, again?

I'm not sure if more washing will help. When is the last time you waxed your car? I've used Meguiars (sp?) Cleaner Wax before with pretty good results. I wouldn't suggest using cleaner wax too often, though.

I would also suggest waxing your car because white cars get dirty really easy. which is why I got black

If I wax a dirty car, won't it still be dirty?

Someone suggested something called a cleaning wax that you use before the regular wax.

They actually have wax that is for white cars which basically looks like you are paiting the car when you rub it on. I think 3m makes it too.

Meguiar's Cleaner Wax worked really well for my white car (now sold). I drove up to my girlfriend's house one day and she commented that my car looked "more white". What I did was just wax the car (the cleaner wax removes deposits on the car that make it look dirty). I don't work for them or anything, but checkout this link:

you may laugh or think im nuts but in lieu of compound i have used a lite formula of soft scrub and it worked superbly

Use a clay bar, i think meguires makes it, they remove all contaminats and imperfections, then use a good quality wax, and it'll be looking great in no time.

As the others keep saying.. clay will help.. If you has the tiny rust dots that are all over your white car thats fallout that the clay will get rid of.. get rid of al the crud and then wax it good........White cars are the worst for fallout

yea i agree with meguiars, they make good products for cleaning cars. i suggest using meguiar for cleaning the car... and on top of that, get some S100 from harley davidson for the wax, your car will look very very very nice =) it'll be bling bling all over.

I used to be a Meguiars guy... but I've slowly been switching more and more to Mothers. A couple of months ago my white '02 was getting dingy. First I stripped the wax with a vigorous washing with regular dish soap. Then I used Mother's claybar and then the solid cleaner wax (as opposed to the liquid) and I couldn't believe the difference. Nice, bright white.
