making a fast legacy

So I'm hangin out near my MY02 WRX and a guy rolls up in a MY02 Legacy and starts asking questions about my car (how fast it was, do I like it, can i beat a Mustang...). His car looked stock (which it was I later found out) and he wanted to know how to make it faster. I started talking to him about Legacy B4's and the ej20tt's and he started talking about swapping so here is my question. What is the fastest way to make his car fast RELIABLY . Any help would be helpful, thanks.

Stick a new USDM STi front clip... that should speed it up nicely.

You could also put in a...
EJ20TT - B4 engine... lots of work to make it work in a LHD but very reliable fast spooling power.
EJ20T - WRX... not as much power as your other options but, once again it is reliable and is cheaper than the other options.
EJ20T - JDM STi - 280hp of pure fun. Reliable, and not quite as expen$ive as the USDM version if you go used.

Or you could turbo it and have a unique reliable car for fairly cheap.
Hope this helped!
