I just purchased my '13 STI and I noticed that the steering column cover is always loose. I would snap it back into place and a few days later (or sometimes after driving), the cover will be loose again.

Wondering if anyone else had this issue with the steering column cover...

 

Mine did that, take it into Subaru under warranty. I had clips that were bad and had the plastics replaced under manufacturer defect.

 

Looks like like bottom part comes loose. There should be 2-3 screws holding it in place, check if any of them are loose
