Latest eBay WRX Auction Oddity...

Check this one out:

WRX Electric Supercharger (2 bids)

Yes, you read correctly -- it is made of the FINEST ABS PLASTIC.

Note that there are two bids for this "upgrade" -- so far! If any of you want to take the plunge, I'll take that crappy parasitic stock turbo off your hands for $100...

BTW, my all-time favorite WRX go-fast acessories are still up for auction:

Looks like a squirrel cage fan blower for a heater or a/c system. They also misspelled 'Impreza' and they called the fan a 'Supercharger Turbo'. LOL.

You know, I think it is actually the "guts" from an electric leaf blower.

"Item being sold is not car specific" -- that's my favorite part.

Can this be plugged into the cigarette lighter and used to put air in tires and air matresses too? If my wife ever needs a tubo for her hairdryer this could be handy.

has anyone seen the electric supercharger adds being run in SCC and some other improt magazines? I dont think it looked like a conventional turbo but it seems like these "E-tubos" are getting their foot in the door.
