I just purchased my 2006 Obsidian Black STi a couple of days ago.

I just thought I would say hello and introduce myself. I've been lurking around this forum for about a year. I was finding myself salivating endlessly as I watched more and more members starting threads announcing their new car purchases.

Congrats on your purchase! I think the '06s are a wise choice if you can still find them because my understanding is that all later STis of this current chassis will lose the aluminum front control arms and alloy suspension links in the rear (according to Subaru's Drive Performance magazine).

Thanks for the warm welcome! I didn't think I would bother with this. It's bone stock and there are plenty of pictures of that in the Obsidian Black picture thread.
