Just got 05 WRX
Hey,
I just got an 05' WRX and I want to start modding it. What are some suggestions I should do, considering I am on a budget. Thanks for the input.

Then gofast parts.
Then gofast parts.anyways, I recommend some decent tires, the suspension is nice as is, get to know the car before you do stuff to it, just get tires so you can push the stock limit farther

Trade it in for an STI
LOL just kidding. But the harsh reality is, is that when you're done modding and have spent thousands doing it (Sway bars, springs, struts, down pipe, up pipe, reflash, tires...ect.) you'll have spent the same amount as if you were to have got the sti in the first place. Only the STI will still be faster....lol. Seriously though, you'll be happy with your purchase. I would suggest a full exhaust $700 - $1000, Engine management $400 - $600, Springs & Sway bars (a must. Sruts can come later, I have over 100K miles on mine so don't let anyone tell you that they'll blow out on you with after market springs)$550ish w/o struts, and a nice set of rims (I went with Rotta's, they're cheap, light, and they look good...call subydude) $500. Don't worry about brakes uless you race your car on a track on a regular basis. Again, 100K miles on my cobb stage 2 car and I'M STILL ON MY STOCK BRAKE PADS, and yes the car still stops on a dime....
