Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is time for me to join the WRX community. I just bought a 2005 WRX Wagon in Crystal Grey Metallic. I bought it for $500 over invoice, so thats about $24,000 after tax lic etc. It has most of the options and a sunroof. It has 56 miles ( half were from my previous enjoyments ) Ill be expecting delivery next week. WOOOOTTT! Pics up soon...

Does the '05 wagon in the states have the sun roof option now?

I didn't see it on the subaru website, and the dealership didn't say anything about it when I was there.

Great buy! I have a red '04 wagon. It is soo much fun. I like the interior of the '05 except for the new MOMO steering wheel.

Do you have an auto or stick? If stick, get the short throw. It rocks.

The sunroof option is there. You just have to ask, as they dont have it as a standard option. Its considered a Custom Warrentied option. And how did you get the MOMO steering wheel? Mine has the 05 Steering wheel like the Legacy GT's. And yes I probably will get the short throw.

I have seen people post here that the new '05 steering wheel is a different style MOMO just with the subaru logo or emblem on it.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did the dealer charge for the sun roof?

I wanted one but was told it wasn't available.

The car doesn't have a sunroof after all. I thought it did. But im going to the dealer again today, so ill find out how much it would be to put one it. It would also be a factory item I believe.

Sunroof update: I talked with the dealer and found that the sunroof is not a stadard option on any of the 05 Wagons. But, the dealer would put one in for about $2000 and would have a life time warranty through the sunroof manufacturer. It would also be a power sliding sunroof.

Yeah if you have the money (unlike me), a sun roof would be mucho cool 'o in the wagon

Yeah, the new momo wheel just has the subie logo, I liked it, as well as the momo shift kit (short shifter and ****) that are factory options
