I went to the International Car Show in San Fran yesterday. Here are some cool pics. That Saturn was actually kind of cool but still a Saturn and that Carrera GT was insane $700,000 600+ hp V-10. And off course Solberg's WRC 2005 Impreza.

I just thought it was pretty innovative for a Saturn, I mean it's the coolest Saturn I have ever seen. Just my thought.

 

I wish it was a rebadged Vauxhall vx220. It has a crappy ecotec 2.4 make a whopping 170bhp. Also, it's bigger and heavier than the vauxhall. Leave it to GM to screw up a well made car.

 

Back in 2001, Saturn visited my school (PRATT INSTITUTE WWW.PRATT.EDU )and we worked on that project. It seemed as the coolest thing working on a sports car. The guidelines were to design a two-door sports car (option to make it a 3-door). Supposedly it was going to be "Miata" size with a "Corvette" engine but maintaining the Saturn identity ( the headlamps with the "tumbstone" section where the badge goes, the swoosh on the side of the car ). It sucks that they left those elements out of the finished version, but now I understand it is simply a Vauxhaull in disguise.

 

Sigh, I'd love to test drive the wrc car...

 

I dug the C6 ZO6, I would hit that. Also the huge boat that Chrystler had there, the Phaeton, that was really cool in a retro way.

Yeah I raced in the GC8 Rally car, at the Fuji track, I did one of my better times, but that model they had running it was a ***** !
