I just got a autometer boost guage. I install the T that came with it. 1 side goes to the line that comes from the guage. I install the tubing from the IC to the T and the other side of T goes to the line that comes from Wastgatee. Now i get boost but no Vac. Does anyone have a drawing or a website that can help me out install the guage. Thank you.

Should only be the "T" off of the stock Bypass Valve on the Intercooler. That goes directly to the Boost Gauge.

You shouldn't be touching the wastegate if this is a standard run of the mill boost gauge.

 

not to be a dick, but your first mistake was buying autometer...they have had a rep (from what i've experienced) of being pretty crappy.

if you wanted decent mechanical gauges, i stand behind stewart warner. i had them in my VW and probably will get a set for my suby and i loved them

 

The gauge should work properly if it is connected to the bypass valve on the IC. As mentioned it should NOT be connected directly to the wastegate line, if you connect it there you will not see vacuum and you also won't see more than wastegate pressure of about 7psi.

 

The nylon tubing that comes with it is ****!
