Just picked up my WRX today.... wow, I can't stop driving it. The sound.. the power.. everything about the car just yells at me to drive it

isnt 1600 a little bit much? The manual says keep under 4k rpm for 1000 miles. I am at like 500 miles now, lol did that in 1 week. Also during breakin should i keep off boost, because sometimes when accelerating i feel it coming on right before shifting. Should i just shift at say 2700-3000 rpm and not 3500 or something?

ummmm..he said 1600 kilometers (approx 1000 miles) for those of us who live in the US of A. I will admit that the Metric system is far superior to the US system, but unfortunately we are to stubburn to adopt things that might actually make sense.
