the fact you mention you are LOOKING at your EWG and still running TD04...take it to a shop bro. they'll tell you (most likely) that it in fact is NOT your EWG but a minor electrical issue or something a lot smaller and irrelevant.

the problem though is if you are n00b you should spend most of your time searching to see if someone has similar problems. and if not then you post a thread with as much information as you can to make it easier for others to chime in. And if you dont know any of that then take it to a shop since you may just be blindly replacing stuff.

I feel it. And I don't deny I learn as I go. But all I'm saying is when someone answers a question or posts info....and then the OP asks again? It was mentioned if you have oem stock turbo its internal. Then op says he has stock and is looking at external. Like I said I get what you're saying, but there a point where its just like: really? I'm not trying to be an ***....I just honestly don't get how we are supposed to offer help when a) he gives us piterally no info and b) he asks questions tha have already been answered. That's just my .02

But OP, seriously, take it to a shop. Ya its money. But its better peace of mind. Goodluck

Maybe you have boost surge, common if you have bell mouth downpipe cause the turbulence may prevent wastegate from opening therefore causing boost to build past what it should be. Idk just a guess cause my car used to feel like it would pull hard then soft back and forth.

Fair enough fellas. I agree that this thread is seriously lacking in information and will be completely useless to anyone who reads it.

I think I spent too much time on snazzioc today and expected to leave the drama behind when I got here

It might be the actuater....it has a cobb acsess port and I just tuned out a over boosting problem so I dont think its that....it will like if it stuck closed then It will boost fine the whole pull then the next gear will have no boost at all...like the wastegate is stuck open

sounds probable. but i wouldnt narrow it already down to waste gate. its obvious you are loosing pressure. but the consistency is just not there. ive never heard of a turbo loosing its int/ex pressure during shift. maybe time to start looking at intake side? more info and symptoms (if possible) will help further isolate your problem.

Usually only first or second will pull normal...and its not often...its usually just 0 pressure....or it will start boosting normal and then drop back down to 0....

do you go into limp mode when u loose boost? DCCD,CEL, and ABS lights come on, IIRC

Again, don't GUESS, take it to a shop who knows what they are doing. It might be something simple or it might be something serious, but guessing isn't going to fix it.
