i just placed an order!
...for a 2004 WRX wagon.
I test drove one today for the first time and fell in love with it! It's a real sweet and fast car. The acceleration was very smooth and quick. I was expecting some turbo lag (since i have a supercharged car which basically behaves like a turbo), but i did not notice any. Steering response was excellent. the ride was also very smooth. The back seat was a bit tight, but it's ok with me since the back seat of my current car is rarely used.
I put a down payment, and now have to wait 3 to 4 months for the car. It's a special order, so i can't cancel it anymore. It's basically a fully loaded version, with all the available options you could get. I paid around $800 over KellyBlueBook invoice.
I asked about the STi out of curiosity, and my salesman said if i were to order one now, i'll get it next year. The reason for this is because they were allocated 2 STi's a month, and their allocation for the rest of the year is already spoken for.
BTW, the printed brochure is nice. If anyone is interested, i'll scan and post it.
