Hey guys, I did some work in the reviews section of i-club, and now I need help. I have a pic of my lisence plate and i need to shrink it down to 50 pixels x 50 pixels. or 19.5 kb.

I have a mac but the access to a PC with photoshop, how can I shrink a normal pic down to avatar size ? Thanks

P.S. Take Alex up on his avatar offer, reviews aren't hard to do if you have stuff done to your car/ or have stuff no one else has done and feel like writing about it

You could download Paint Shop Pro from www.jasc.com. They have a resize option that will keep the proper sizing in your picture so as not to distort it when it resizes. I had to shrink my av down too and it came out pretty good (if not really small).

 

Attach it to a post in this thread. I'll resize it without noticeable distortion and re-post the smaller version. You can then use it as your avatar.

I am an ANIGIF n00b, can anyone tell me of a good program that I can use to make one? I was thinking Macromedia Flash, but that is a lot of money. Freeware would be cool, if anyone knows of any.

How do I get my own avatar? My own Signatures? And, How do I become a VIP member. How do I get access to that?. . . it looks cool.

Obtaining VIP status and the resulting avatar feature is as simple () as uploading 20 new products for review or 20 written reviews of already-uploaded products in i-Club's Reviews section.

Take a look at how the product uploads and actual reviews are written. VIP status will be awarded when a combined total of 20 quality product uploads and written product reviews are submitted. If for some reason the reviews or product uploads are of poor quality and show that little effort was expended, they will be discarded.

damn that's a lot. oh well. Can I do it one at time until I get 20 and then when I get to 20, will I automatically get the avatar?

 

You can submit the product uploads or reviews at any time. A running total is kept. If you submit 20 you can send PM Imprezer if your member status doesn't change to 'VIP' within a couple of days.
