i have a problem!!

my car shaking at idle... what do i do?? if anyone can help please do!!

Could it be the transmission, or an engine mount? My old Legacy started shaking once after it had blown a spark plug out of the socket. But, it also got much louder! Someone here must know.

Check the valve timing. Also, horizontally oppossed engines (esp. in the WRX) shake, for lack of a better word.

if it's shaking a little bit, it's normal.

if it's shaking a lot, check the plugs. Replace them with NGK Coppers (V-Core), and these are availible from Pepboys, or other local parts stores. just make sure you gap it correctly.

It's it an Auto, and it's when you are stopped at a light, foot on brake, car in Drive, when i'd take a trip to the dealership to get it looked at.
