find someone with an 04 and see if you can borrow their hood scope for a little bit to see if it fits, i honestly don't know the answer and am curious as well if it fits

I'm not sure if it would be possible, but it might be easier to just buy an entire '04 hood and put it on your '03 WRX. I don't want to imagine what this would cost you though. Oh well, I never said it would be cheaper.

yeah i was wondering that, the 04 hood is different though because of the headlights, it would probably be easier to cut your 03 hood to fit the 04 scoop

Yeah, that makes sense. It would have to be different due to the redesigned headlights.

Dude, just wait. Someone will probably manufacture a 04 style scoop for the 02-03 wrx. Then you won't have to worry about trying to cut into your aluminum hood. They ain't exactly cheap to replace if you screw up.
