Talking I got me a new car!

Well, after months of searching for the perfect forester, i finally found one that would do and the price was right. Actually a family friend found it then told me about it but whatever. It's a 2003 2.5xs with 47,000 highway miles that I'm picking up for the killer price of 12k! I do not have it in my possession yet, as it is being driven down from chyanne on saturday, but will be sure to post pics when it gets here. Only complaint is that it is sierra gold, which, though i really do not like that color i couldnt pass up the car at that price (lower price = more mod's ) Now all i have to deal with is the anticipation of seeing and driving the car for the first time (the family friend who found it test drove it in chyanne while i was out of town)

First mod's:
1. Roof Rack (i know, not technically a mod)
2. Turn stockers into snow wheels and get a nice summer tire wheel package
3. STi 20mm rear sway bar
4. USDM STi springs
5. ????

Cheers
-Jeff

Well a few changes have happened today. First, which made me a bit mad is the fact that it is actually a x, not xs. This fact had been kinda lost in translation, but the guy is actually even giving me MORE of a discount because of this misunderstanding (price now... 10k!) I'm fine with it though, because that money saved just means more for mods

Did you run a VIN number search on it? It's good protection and well worth the few dollars it costs, according to everything I've ever read about it.

Car Info: No car right now....sob.
The car was purchased from a family friend, who went to test drive it. Although a CARFAX Lemon Check wouldn't hurt, I think Jeff will be fine. So long as I can get a ride here and there, otherwise his tires will have an unfortunate accident, if ya know what I mean.

hahaha funny you asked. Well, it all originated over on clubwrx in the mountain states forum where somehow a green parrot named fritz became our mascot. It was/is on most people avatars over there and due to that, we became the mountain states pirate. Make sense? No. But its fun!

Well, carfax checked out ok, minus me finding out it was involved in a minor (no damage reported) accident in October, that i will be talking to the owners about but it does not look like much of a problem.

Saturday!

AWNS: Yeah, as much as i would have loved to get a 240 or MR2, they are just too damn small! I wish i could have but my stuff just wouldnt have fit.

Cheers
-Jeff
