i don't have a clock! :-( suggestions please
Since I have the performance gauge, I realize i do not have a clock anymore.
For those members with gauges installed where the digital clock normally is, what do you use for a clock and where is it installed? I really don't want to replace the factory stereo, and a wristwatch is out of the question.
Any other suggestions is appreciated.

Just get a radio or CD player that does, or a watch

I've seen a few things at sharperimage that attach to your dash, most have a compass built in too. Or you could always wear a big clock aroung your neck like flava' flav' from NWA and bring that style back. Why no wrist watch? I don't like them myself but Skagen watches are really light and thin and I'm not bothered at all by them. Plus titanium is sweet!

I also went to an RV parts store and got a battery powered clock that also provides outside air temp at the push of a button. It sticks to the cup holder.

thanks for the replies.
Since i really am not too thrilled to modify or cut anything, and i don't want to stick anything to the dashboard (mounting tape sticky stuff is hard to remove) I ended up ordering one of those clocks that clip to the vent. It's by Concept XT and it looks really good. I'll tell you how it performs when i finally get it.

update: I received the clock. it looks good in pictures, but the real thing is very flimsy, cheap and flaky. It's been working intermittently. The only good thing about it is the price ($16 w/s&h) and the fact that I just did a clip-on installation. Stay away from this clock.

OMG you and the guy that wanted to know what kind of frame he should get for his plates should get together. Do you have a cell phone? Almost everyone that I have seen has a clock on it. Whats wrong with a wrist watch. I mean I can't actually figure out why you are asking this question. Its not really gonna change anything about your car. Its a CLOCK.
