Hey my family is still not over Katrina and now Rita is moments away from hitting us hard. Please all i can ask is your prayers for me and my family. Thank you.

It wasn't as bad as I thought. Living in Houston my entire life, I have been through 3 hurricanes (including RIta) and a tropical storm, you tend to look at these storms from a different perspective. Houston and the surrounding areas are actually built for hurricanes, New Orleans and parts of Louisiana are not. I think that was the major difference between the impacts of Katrina and Rita.

last night i stayed up till like 3 oclock just reading and watching vid clips of news reports, and footage from katrina and Rita.. and all i can say is that my thoughts are with everyone who has not only been involved with the hurricane attack.. but to everyone who is helping to get the towns back into shape.. i only wished that i could have the power and opportunity to go down there and lend a hand..
