If you were to put the two next to each other, would you be able to tell the difference without looking VERY closely? I'm debating getting a pre-painted platinum silver WRX OEM lip for a silverthorn '01 RS.

 

The difference is fairly noticable. The platinum silver is a whitish bright silver, wehreas the silverthorne has red mixed into the silver, giving it a duller brownish tint. The silverthorn is a wierd color and not much matches it. Just look a t a WRX next to an old RS, very noticeable difference.
