Horn broke watch for finger.
Help me, my horns broke and subaru said it was the "role pin connector".
They quoted me $365.00 to fix it.$365 for a connector!I need options fast.
its time to inspect the car and it won't pass with a broke horn.
They won't let me use my finger either.
thanks,
Ronin

Its not actually just a connector. That part is also known as the "clock spring" and it is necessary for the airbag to work as well as the horn. You should get it fixed.
It is possible to buy the part yourself and install it if you have the tools and the service manual with the proper procedure.

If you need a quick cheap fix to pass inspection, you can just get a horn button from a local car parts store. It will only cost about a dollar, just run a wire from your horn to the button and mount it some place by your steering wheel. (I've had to do it for a mustang because i couldn't find even find were the factory mounted horn was until a month after i had the car i finally traced the wires.) Then you can pass inspection and research what your options are to fix your horn without spending all of that money through subaru.
