I was checking out digitalracer.com and it has lots of parts im unfimiliar with. like the hks hi powered ignition. This ignition is sapposed to create a hotter spark in order to explode more horse power. my question is... has anyone heard of this? I have never seen an aftermarket ignition system for my impreza for sale before this one. I am verry glad to finaly. does anyone else run an "other then stock" distributor(or ignition)? Im verry curious is to hear about how this would work, reliyablity wise.....how good is it for your engine?and of course...how much more HP? =)

 

Upgraded ignition systems generally don't give better HP/Torque. They can, but it is a very meager amount. What they do is burn fuel/air more efficiently and completely. This results in better throttle response and fuel efficiency, possibly better emissions.
